Trainer and Syndicate comments for Amity Island
Amity Island has grown significantly since joining Ollie Pears yard, and we had no hesitation in taking him for our syndicates after watching him lengthen out on the gallops at Malton. He was foaled in 2015 and races on a regular basis.
He is rated in the mid-sixties, but we expect this gelding to rise through the ranks. He is very decent when he gets his right surface and we should have a lot of fun handicapping with him.
Ollie says of the colt "He is a good ride, and has plenty of spirit, but is sensible with it. He always lengthens really well when asked, and Andrew Mullen has indicated that ground with cut in it on the turf will be his optimum conditions through summer and he loves the All-Weather surfaces as well."
He added "I do see him as a horse who will eventually relish middle distances. Hes currently rated in the sixties, but I think when he comes to himself properly we can improve upon that rating."
This son of Harbour Watch already has plenty of substance to him and it will be fascinating to see how he develops over the next season.
He is available to view prior to purchase and we expect this son of Harbour Watch to keep on improving.
This share would be provided with full access to the Ownaracehorse Racehorse Manager system which will allow the owner to be constantly up to date with the geldings progress, entries, declarations and full results and analysis.
